Many occasions we go through situation where we have to walk away from. Meaning the current shit just ain't good to be around. I strongly believe in GOOD energy. Throughout the period of isolation you come to terms with yourself and others in your life. It was a point in my life during the tragic year of 2011, worst year in my life where I made a decision to unplug a friendship. Even though not thinking everything through, I felt angry and my emotions were high as they can get, I'd just erased the past and moved on with my life. Maybe a good decision at the time, but in the long run I randomly found myself missing that person. Never had a argument, a few disagreements, but the positive in our friendship overflowed the negative and it was very much worth savaging. I decided to mend a relationship with a past best friend of mine.
When I set up the dinner date I knew our friendship was gonna go back to the norm, and it did. Like nothing never changed. I missed my best friend so much, and even though I have more than a few best friends, this was my supporter who never judged me and accepted me for who I am and was just always there. We celebrated many things together, even going to my first club with her and spending countless nights out just having fun, especially on graduation night, one of my favorite past time moments. Truly a friend everyone should have.

My best friend Saharra lives in New Jersey now and I currently live in Louisiana. We spent many years together during our college years in Orlando, Florida and we'll watch movies all day everyday. Can even quote old movies to quiz each other to see if we knew the film. Seeing that we are many miles away from each other we still find a away to watch a good film together somehow. Their are ways, especially thanks to Skype. But This film is a must. Relatable, funny and just a gem.

Michael Kors, award winning designer did it again. His resort 2014 collection brings back a groovy chic appeal. Inspired from the fabulous seventies I must say the prints, color blocking and caftans truly get my vote for best resort collection so far. More looks here

Marie Claire - July 2013 - Lauren Conrad
It seems to Marie Claire that bold bangs are the trend for summer and as much as I'm dying for a new hair style, especially cut, bangs might not be for me, but I love seeing them on other women. First Lady Mrs. Obama, Kim Kardashian, Rachel Zoe and many others. Be sure to check out more from this issue when it hit stands and also check out the exclusive Lauren Conrad spread and interview. Seeing that my obsessions has changed from year to year and in some cases a few lasted for years. My childhood before high school had anything and everything to deal with wrestling. I had the action figures, wall literally covered with posters and photos, video games and even ordered all the pay-per-view wrestling shows and even took the time to record each televised show. Yes I was addicted. That went away very fast once I entered high school.
Then my obsession was photography, which I also was obsessed with it in middle school, hint that I made my own yearbook in the 8th grade because my school didn't supply one. But I joined the yearbook club and was always taking photos with my disposable camera, until I was editor at large and got to use the digital cameras. Oh how my life changed to the digital world.
After high school I went off to college for fashion and boy oh boy did I have my own style and learned more about my style and shoes and clothes and hairstyles. What an era! But I'm currently getting over my obsession with DVD's and its moving slowly to shoes. I absolutely love shoes which Is why I listed my current obsessions

Have you ever had buyers remorse? yeah me either. But I would agree to the fact that I'am a proud indecisive person, well buyer, well actually person. I can never decide on my hairstyle, what to eat and OMG what to watch. I have buku(definition below) DVD's and would serious spend about 20 minutes going through movie after movie to figure out what to watch. But while shopping I often think about the process of shopping. Yes for my fashionably challenge readers, their is a process my darling. Well I guess i'll give you the insider and first class shopping manual to shopping, especially to the indecisive buyers like myself.
The Indecisive Shopper's Manual
Rule 1: Gracefully enter the department store and give thanks. After working in retail with and without dealing with customers, its plenty of work and backstage drama for you to even receive the awesome presentation of racks of clothes and shoes, so first give thanks to the workers. This could be said to self and not out loud, one would think your weird and while shopping my dear weird is creepy and cool is chic.
Rule 2: Be cool and know your worth. While shopping stay away from the sales racks, I simply say this because firstly its many seasons ago hints the sale price. But also know that when your purchasing an item, any item home decor alike that you have to shop for quality my dear. If that means you'd rather spend $45 for a nice pair of Zara shoes rather then heading to Wal-Mart and buying maybe 3 pair of shoes for the same price that will only last for 2 weeks is the best choice.
I have a funny story to tell when I discovered the "ask and you shall receive" moment in my life. It was when I came one with money and getting what I want. Now don't judge me and think I'm a spoiled brat. Not in my case folder, but I will say I worked hard for everything I received as a child and for myself as an young fabulous looking adult. I had normally let my mother decided on what'll i'd wear, not literally but the master in the decision on what to purchase. If your not familiar with my mom, she loves to spend money (gambling at the casinos) but is actually a very cheap person. I'm talking dollar store queen. So one day in my early teens I asked my ex step father to take me shopping for new clothes in which we went to Macy's and purchased my first Tommy Hilfiger and more than one pair of jeans which lasted forever by the way. Never ripped, they simply look new to this day. But I did give them away to charity seeing that I no longer wear oversize pants anymore (my past boy life). And some other items, but the fact that my father spent over $60 per pair for the jeans my mom looked at him sideways, as if we should have went to Wal-Mart and purchased about 10 for that price. But the thing when shopping its not about the quantity its about the quality. Its a tough choice for some, but for myself I'd rather buy "investment pieces" which I'll talk more on later, than rather buying inexpensive items that don't last from now to next week.
More rules to the Indecisive Shopper's Manual coming throughout the period of this blog, seeing that new rules are created and deleted often because fashion and shopping is a very addictive never-ending game.
Buku; meaning to have a lot of; many.

Fully rested in bed with some old SpongeBob pj's on, which I received in high school as a Christmas gift from a friend. Every year we would pull names out a hat and etc etc. Well since middle school I've always hated my gift, because still then the tradition never failed and my gift was always a flop. Mainly because all my friends were mostly girls. Well girls who aren't into style, and neither was I at the time, but they also didn't know what on earth to get a boy. I always had a good time picking out theirs, which explains why I love going shopping with my girlfriends and helping style them for special occasions to this day. Funny how you think back on your past and seeing that even then your actions will always lead to the path that was already written for you.
But anyway, I've received the weirdest gifts from friends in my past. I received a used teddy bear, yes used, meaning it was theirs for years and didn't look new at all. I also received a pair of socks. Socks! Not a pack of socks. It was one single pair, all white wrapped in ugly wrapping paper. I was too pissed, and the "normal" gift was just the budget money amount.
I was always the type that enjoyed opening a good gift, so receiving money was a blah emotion for me at the time. But oh how times have changed because I'd take money any day over a gift from my friends now. Even to this day my friends still give horrible gifts. I have to let them know exactly what to get otherwise I'll get something I'd never or hardly wear and wouldn't buy. It often comes across as me "wanting" a gift every time, which isn't true. I'd pick quality time over a gift any day. But less than a couple often see it as me "asking" for a gift, which I feel misunderstood, because I see it like this, either you surprise me and get a gift I could careless for and have no use, or I'll inform you on some stuff that caught my eye. Simply an easy choice, I'd be pissed if I spent my money on a gift that'll never be used, but then again I'am told I'm different. So money now is highly favored. But I remember when I received these Sponge Bob pjs that I was actually happy. I really loved them and still wear them to this day and that was 7 years ago. But the lesson that I learned from my past gift giving was that even though I might've received a gift I normally wouldn't want if had the choice but to be grateful and accept for now that later will be better. But really the lesson truly is that even though you might be in a horrible situation or receiving bad news (in my case many times, but fuck it, life goes on) one day you too will receive good news and feel a lot better, just give it time.
